Russian influence is not limited to presidential politics alone, no sirree. Its influence extends even into the pages of Vogue Ukraine, one of Russia’s neighbors to the West, where the articles are written in Russian, not unlike other major fashion publications in Ukraine. Not that any of this is a conspiracy, nor for that matter is the presence of Caitie Greene in the January 2017 issue of Vogue Ukraine in a fashion story all about layering. Photographed by Dan Smith, Caitie is at her striking best, nose ring and all. Caitie opens the story layered up wearing a dress by Emilio Pucci over top a turtleneck by Carven and finished with earrings by Céline. The steady beat of Russia in the news cycle is unlikely to abate any time soon, but so long as it carries the face of Caitie Greene it is likely to be met with widespread approval.
