The PANTONE 2017 color of the year is Greenery, which is said to be a revitalizing shade and symbolic of new beginnings. Bold choice for 2017 of all years, but Greenery is not the preferred color for this Glen Luchford story running in the February 2017 issue of Vogue Paris starring amongst others Julie Hoomans. Pink and its various shades are the color for this fashion editorial styled by Suzanne Koller, which when pushed to the extreme beckons forth summer. Julie comes to the fore in the opening page wearing a black leopard and sun velvet dress by Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. Julie’s flash of vibrancy sets the tone for the rest of the story, which plays out over the course of 16 pages in a manner that is thoroughly revitalizing, not unlike Greenery itself.
