NEW YORK — Jason Wu ushered in his first decade in business with his Fall / Winter 2017 runway show late Friday afternoon at the St. Regis New York. After ten years in the game, the award winning designer has garnered countless accolades, not least of which include having dressed former First Lady Michelle Obama. And yet, there was a collection to be shown in the opulent setting of the hotel originally founded by John Jacob Astor over a century ago. On the afternoon a trio of models at Next including Lineisy Montero, Leila Goldkuhl, and Selena Forrest took to the runway, thereby well and truly kicking off what will be a month of women’s ready-to-wear shows across four cities. Buckle up, it’s going to be a quite a trip.
