PARIS — There was nothing numb nor for that matter blue about Pierpaolo Piccioli’s women’s ready-to-wear collection for Fall / Winter 2017. In fact, there was incredible warmth, love even coursing through the 61 total looks, which found spiritual kinship with 18th century Romanticism, or as the collection notes defined it, “a way of acting that favors instinct and sentiment, diversity and emotion.” Piccioli’s instincts were duly rewarded Sunday afternoon at Hôtel de Salomon Rothschild as the assembled guests greeted the conclusion of the show with a rapturous applause. Walking in the show from Next were no fewer than a dozen models including Hiandra Martinez, Carson Zehner, Tessa Bruinsma, Lorena Maraschi, Leila Goldkuhl, Yana Van Ginneken, Manuela Miloqui, Lea Issarni, Estella Brons, Lineisy Montero, Julie Hoomans, and Selena Forrest. More to love!
