Over the weekend The Sunday Times readers were introduced to Selah Marley, who appeared the cover of its Style magazine photographed Terry Tsiolis. Having already featured in advertising for Calvin Klein, not to mention being the face of Beyoncé’s Ivy Park label, introductions of this sort are becoming less and less necessary. Marley’s lineage has long distinguished her, but she is making a name of her very own. “I’m working on a project that basically expresses the entirety of myself,” she says speaking with Anna Silman. “I think this project is really just the purest expression of myself and things I’ve internalized for a long time.” Whatever form this project takes, it will surely be as evocative as Selah herself, girl of the moment that she is.
