Although women in Europe and North America did not really begin wearing shirts (they in fact wore dresses) to any noticeable extent until the mid to late 19th century, the practice itself has long been adopted by modern woman and to such a degree that it even has something called trends. Trends! The editors at ELLE UK know of such trends and have duly dispatched a crack squad that includes Caitie Greene for an editorial feature that explores them in detail. Photographed by Daniel Thomas Smith and styled by Michelle Dugiud, the feature celebrates the very best of this season’s shirts. To that end, Caitie (pictured) wears a white and black cotton shirt by Sandro along with a beige and black trouser by Monse. Caitie is also shown wearing a sterling-silver cuff by Tiffany & Co. and a nose ring that is all her own. Take notes, there are a wealth of trends on offer, be they shirting or piercing.
