When Jeremy Scott took his bow on the Moschino runway in Milan earlier this year in February, he strode down the runway wearing a white T-shirt proclaiming in bold type Couture is an attitude (front) and It’s not a price point (back). Although the Paris Chamber of Commerce would likely disagree on legal grounds, Scott’s chutzpah is to be admired. Irreverence after all is the something of a hallmark for Scott’s Moschino, which is not to say there is not also elegance. The advertising campaign for Fall / Winter 2017 by Steven Meisel starring Hiandra Martinez and Tamy Glauser accentuates that very elegance. The campaign broke today on a microblogging service called Twitter and was subsequently picked up by Scott and the brand itself on their respective Instagram accounts. Hiandra and Tamy both exude that Moschino attitude are duly pictured wearing looks from the fall collection in interiors finished with weathered wood.
