“It wasn’t so bad,” said a breathless, if not slightly relieved Jane Moseley as she stepped off the runway in London back in February of this year. The occasion was of course Jane’s closure of the Joseph runway show. To know Jane is also to know how self deprecating she is about her modeling. Jane after all is a fine artist first and foremost, but there is this modeling career of hers that is nothing if not a success. Last weekend Jane made the cover of Sunday Times Style and here she is but a week later in the Joseph advertising campaign for Fall / Winter 2017 by photographer Bibi Cornejo Borthwick. Jane is a perfect fit for a Louise Trotter’s asymmetry, which comes to life in the campaign at varying angles and orientations. True to Jane’s sentiment expressed a full 151 days ago, this campaign isn’t so bad, no, in fact it is great.
