Confirmation came late last month amidst the end-of-year holiday vortex that Phoebe Philo would leave Céline, a post she held for a decade. “Working with Céline has been an exceptional experience for me these last 10 years. I am grateful to have worked with an incredibly talented and committed team and I would like to thank everyone along the way who has been part of the collaborations and conversations…it’s been amazing,” said Philo in a statement published in WWD. Bittersweet, then is the announcement of the latest Céline campaign for Summer 2018 by featuring Karolin Wolter and Binx. Photographed by Juergen Teller, this campaign is Karolin’s first for Céline and the fourth such honor for Binx. Both, however walked in the corresponding runway show last October in Paris. Philo’s final collection for Céline will be shown in March. Savor this moment.
