Aube Jolicoeur completes her Steven Meisel advertising hat-trick with a third campaign with the maestro for Zara. This latest honor of hers for Spring / Summer 2018 comes on the heels of appearances in campaigns for Marc Jacobs and Moschino, also by Meisel. As giants go, Zara is immense, it stands on the shoulders of Inditex, the world’s largest clothier. Critics quite rightly take issue with fast fashion and its deleterious effects across a range of issues from environment to labor, but from a creative standpoint, Zara, is beyond repute. Marshaling the talents most often seen applied to the editorial pages of Vogue Italia, Zara has produced an advertising campaign that warrants praise. Aube for her part looks a worthy hat-trick winner, decisive, deadly even, as she is in front of goal.
