LONDON — Midday Sunday Fashion East, the nonprofit initiative founded by Lulu Kennedy back 2000, held its runway showcase featuring four designers for Fall / Winter 2018. Pick of the lot, no question, were Anthony Symonds and Max Pearmain, who rounded out the runway program with an impressive collection with a no less eye-catching lineup that featured a half dozen models from across the Next global network including Lily McMenamy, Aube Jolicoeur, Neelam Gill, Aiden Curtiss, Lili Sumner, and Estella Brons. Stripes, black and white checks, flashes of gold, electrified with sex appeal made this the standout showing of the afternoon. Fashion East is part of what makes London Fashion Week so unique and truly exciting. This season’s vintage was no exception.
