PARIS — A good first impression never hurts, quite the contrary in fact, but a strong follow-up nearly always seals the deal. This much was the case Thursday morning at Maison de la Radio, headquarters of Radio France, not far from where Eugène Ducretet first began experimenting with radio waves from the Eiffel Tower. For her second collection, then Natcha Ramsay-Levi tuned in frequencies first broadcast in the 1970s. This collection was an ode to newly liberated women of that era in all her dreamlike possibilities. Early indications are the collection was positively received following a first transmission to the runway courtesy of a lineup featuring a half dozen girls at Next including Grace Hartzel, Nina Gulien, Daphne Simmons; Alexis Sundman, Selena Forrest, and Binx, who in fact closed the show. Warm welcome is in order for Alexis, who made her runway debut as a Chloé exclusive.
