PARIS — Where were we last? Right, Virgil Abloh and his Off-White™ label last season paid tribute to “Natural Woman,” but Thursday night the collection fêted its namesake, “West Village.” The picturesque Manhattan neighborhood has been home to visionary greats like Marcel Duchamp, but also an IMDB character entry who once resided at 64 Perry Street. Visitors making pilgrimages to that particular address are kindly asked to respect the premises. Abloh for his part dispensed with any such niceties and instead got down to it with a collection that drew inspiration from a variety of sources, some equestrian, others artistic, and filtered through his voracious mind. On the night, nine models from across the Next global network featured in the runway show including Hiandra Martinez, Aiden Curtiss, Rocio Marconi, Ola Rudnicka, Alexis Sundman, Myrthe Bolt, Eniola Abioro, Oumie Jammeh, and Grace Elizabeth.
