Setting aside the quadrennial occurrence of the leap year, all calendar years have 365 days. This all encompassing number is just that, time consumed wholly. Prada borrows freely from this concept for its ambitious Prada365 advertising campaign by photographer Willy Vanderperre, the third installment of which features Christian Heritage. Shot in Los Angeles, the series titled “In Cities” draws inspiration from the storied metropolis to showcase distinctive characters and accessories drawn from the Spring / Summer Prada Women’s and Men’s collections. Christian is no stranger to Prada, the Peach State native made his debut back in January as a Prada exclusive. “If you have genius ideas, you have to make them attractive,” Miuccia Prada said speaking to Business of Fashion. “Otherwise no one listens. In my job, it’s the same. But at some point, you have to go deep. So the superficial image reflects something more complex.” Stare deeply into Christian’s eyes, there is complexity to be found as well as a finely designed jacket and rucksack.
