New Year’s Day Saint Laurent went live with its Summer 2018 advertising campaign by Inez & Vindoodh. In the intervening weeks and months variations of this campaign have surfaced, all carrying with them echoes of New Order’s “Blue Monday,” the soundtrack to the advertising campaign’s first installment. The latest splash to be made in the campaign is by none other than Maria Miguel. Readers will of course remember the Portuguese beauty back in September of last year when she made her debut as a Saint Laurent exclusive by opening the Summer 2018 runway show against the backdrop of a shimmering Eiffel Tower. Here she is today, on the page wearing the very look she did to open the show. There is no more fitting illustration of a full circle than that.
