There is another Sunday magazine for British readers to enjoy this weekend, which comes courtesy of London Evening Standard’s ES Magazine featuring who else but Selena Forrest. Photographed by Carin Backoff, the cover pictures Selena wearing a Dior jumpsuit with a Fendi bumbag. Inside the issue Selena speaks with Samuel Fishwick about modeling, life, and the pressure to succeed. This pressure, Selena acknowledges, contributes to a divisiveness she often feels exists between fellow models. “At castings I make sure I go out and say good luck to everybody — they’re too scared to say that. There needs to be a lot less taking each other down. There’s definitely enough room for all of us at the top. I hope we all make it — I’m not in competition with anybody but my old self.” This devil-may-care attitude has served Selena well throughout her career and will likely propel her to ever great heights.
