Binx is the epitome of today’s woman,” Michael Kors tells British Vogue for the unveiling of the designer’s Fall 2018 advertising campaign. “Her attitude and style personify modern laid-back luxury – she is strong and a bit of a tomboy.” Binx is many things, but above all she is true to herself and is nobody’s fool. Run the tape back to February of this year when Binx opened the Michael Kors Collection runway show. Until that point it had been a full two years since Binx last featured on the runway for the American designer. When Binx finally stepped out on the runway tucked inside Lincoln Center’s Vivian Beaumont Theatre, it would be to open the show and a 138 days later she is the face of the campaign photographed by Inez & Vinoodh. In hindsight it seems this move was always on the cards, Binx fronting a major advertising campaign shot aboard a private jet operating on an entirely higher plane.
