There is a brand spanking new issue of Purple on newsstands for Fall / Winter 2018-2019, three covers of which feature Grace Hartzel (pictured), Anok Yai, and Jane Moseley. The 30th issue of the publication and brainchild of Olivier Zahm is a paean to Los Angeles. The Purple editor-in-chief recently relocated his Stateside operations in Downtown L.A. after many years in New York. “The optimism, a certain innocence, an ambition, a feeling of freedom and experimentation. New communities, and also the beginning of an interesting political activism which is not just fighting against the [Donald] Trump administration,” he said speaking to WWD. “It’s more about developing communities and being independent.” Grace for her part on this cover claims her Purple hat-trick, having notched back three covers for the title. Her latest is photographed by Eli Russell Linnetz and styled by Amanda Wall and features along with the corresponding cover story all clothes by Comme des Garçons.
