MILAN — Prada is a seasonal pilgrimage and Thursday’s journey to Fondazione Prada on the outskirts of Milan did not disappoint. Last season the runway show took place in the upper floors of the museum tower designed by architect Rem Koolhaas’s OMA. This season, however the immense exhibition space scaled the ceremony to ever great magnitudes. The program that played out was worthy of the billing, which never lost sight of the new generation of luxury consumers on which the bottom line depends. To that end, the collection including baby doll dresses and biker shorts. If anyone orchestrate such incongruities into a breathtaking collection, then it most certainly is Miuccia Prada. Special mention of Pat McGrath’s artistry is also required as those eyelashes don’t just project themselves to maximal degree like they did for this show’s beauty look. Faith is restored for another season. In the lineup early Thursday evening were seven models from across the Next global network including Anok Yai, Sara Eirud, Binx Walton, Selena Forrest, Maria Miguel, Lineisy Montero, and Shuping Li featured.
