The wait is over. Burberry Christmas is upon us! The advertising campaign by Juno Calypso, the first of its kind for Riccardo Tisci since his appointment as Burberry Chief Creative Officer, features, wait for it, M.I.A. The campaign broke today online and in print following a teaser release earlier this month. A short film for the campaign that explores the reality and fantasy of the institution that is British Christmas can be watched on the Burberry IGTV channel. Seated just off the center of the extravagantly accommodated table, M.I.A. brings to the festive party a dignity that is all her own. More and more Tisci is shaping Burberry into his own image, dark, beautiful, and richly complex. This campaign is that and thanks to M.I.A. it is also so much more.
