There is a stage in life when posters are no longer viable wall coverings. Adulting can be demanding enough when it concerns, say, how to boil water, but interior decoration can be downright excessive. Posters once ruled walls from adolescence through university. As the years ticked on walls eventually lost out when the gatekeepers of adulthood all but insisted on a museum aesthetic, which over time can become staid and uninspiring. The creative minds at Chaos have diagnosed the ailment and have devised a treatment in the form of a poster book they call Chaos SixtyNine. The second such photo book is out and now for sale with a variety of covers, one of which features Cara Taylor photographed by Cass Bird. Retailing at US$90, the post book contains over 100 pull-out posters! Nothing flirts with anarchy quite like naked paper stock tacked on a wall. Throw Cara Taylor into the equation and the result is Chaos SixtyNine! Posters and, well, Cara Taylor, are just what this cultural moment needs.
