Any readers who had eyes on Valentino in the last 24 hours saw lots of red, though not unnaturally so. Study the lineup and there can be found one Sara Eirud. She knows the house well, she walked for it back in October. That she slotted straight back into the Pre-Fall 2019 runway show staged in Tokyo means Sara’s first time was no exception. Early signs are good that her success on the runway this autumn is beginning to translate into print. Today in fact she claimed her first ever magazine cover, which broke this afternoon on Instagram. The fifth cover of Issue Nº14, photographed by Brett Lloyd and styled by Alexis Roche, flirts with masculine and feminine conventions in its deployment of a corset and unbuttoned trousers. Sara means business on this cover, that much is evident, then again she is in just about everything she does.
