There is something to be said for directness. There are few avenues in high fashion more direct than an emblazoned logo. Name the house and chances are high it traffics in logoed luxury of some sort. The January 2019 issue of British Vogue celebrates this season in logomania and related bold stylings in a feature by photographer Kristin-Lee Moolman and stylist Poppy Kain that includes Anok Yai and Eniola Abioro. “Say My Name” as it is aptly titled doesn’t so much recite roll call as it belts it to the high heavens. Anok (pictured) for her part makes a cameo with what she describes simply on Instagram as a “quick flick,” as you do. Eniola delivers a double shot herself, two reminders of her command of the page. Directness has it merits, clearly. Say those names. Anok! Eniola!
