There is nothing quite like a Vogue cover to quicken the pulse. Today’s honor goes to Erika Linder for her excellent February 2019 cover of Vogue Paris. The French edition of Vogue broke the news on its Instagram earlier today in a post celebrating unisex styling of the cover. Erika is well versed in androgynous stylings and has figured in a variety of roles on and off screen throughout her career that delight in the fluidity of the masculine and the feminine. Photographed by Mikael Jansson, Erika is pictured for the cover wearing a suit and tie by Hedi Slimane’s Celine. “You only have to see the catwalks where you can no longer distinguish girls from boys. Observe the graceful ease with which models live, assume and claim an undefined genre,” says editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt. “More than a fad, the unisex wave is a phenomenon of society.” The February issue of Vogue Paris is out Monday, 25 January 2019.
