“The campaign shoot was a lot of fun. Anthony Turner cut my hair short in the morning and I also had my eyebrows bleached… so by the time I got on set I felt completely transformed!,” says Claudia Lavender speaking to British Vogue. The advertising of course is for Burberry, the first proper campaign launched under Riccardo Tisci’s reign. The world caught its first glimpse of Claudia back in September, when she made her runway debut for Tisci’s inaugural collection for the British luxury house. A full 129 days later Claudia has landed herself in a major campaign, which draws from a creative pool that includes a half dozen photographers. Claudia’s portion of the campaign was photographed by Danko Steiner. “I think the pictures are very strong… I really like the way Riccardo has been bold with this first collection, but it’s still very much the classic modern Burberry we all love.”
