A new issue of British Vogue is out, the March 2019 edition in fact, the eve of Fashion Month no less. What the month will ultimately entail is anyone’s guess really, but if there is any certainty it resides in a story by Craig McDean called “Black Magic.” Any readers looking for evil spirits will find none. There is, however plenty of magic on the pages thanks to Lineisy Montero, who duly opens the story, arms held aloft, leaping into the air. The title immediately makes sense, sorcerer that Lineisy is. As for the month to come, dust off that crystal ball and conjure even a tenth of the energy Lineisy brings to all she does and the next four weeks could yet prove magical.
