The changing of the guard at the House of Herrera has been steady since Wes Gordon made his debut last September, but with today’s release of the Spring 2019 advertising campaign that change has achieved even greater precision. Shot on the streets of New York by photographer Theo Wenner and styled by Elin Svahn, the campaign stars Grace Hartzel. The creative approach is a marked change for the house, which formerly used Mario Testino for its advertising. The vibrancy of the imagery is refreshing, one clearly aimed at bolstering Gordon’s new direction. That Grace herself is central to this effort should be no surprise. Where there is Grace, there is life.
