NEW YORK — Fashion Week in this town is not without its challenges, what with the hemorrhaging of designers whether by election or force, but down on its luck as it has been it can at least count Proenza Schouler to carry the standard. Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez rode an acid wash denim wave back into the City last September, which received mixed reception but in the main provided relief for the simple fact that wave crashed on these shores. This season the collection was delivered on firmer footing, albeit atop the 22nd floor of 55 Hudson Yards. On the afternoon, four models at Next including Binx Walton, Maud Hoevelaken, Selena Forrest, and Anok Yai featured in the lineup.
