California is influential. Never mind the Golden State boasts the world’s fifth largest economy, ahead of the United Kingdom, its cultural influence is practically immeasurable. The March 2019 issue of British Vogue dips into this Western land in a story by photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch starring amongst others Selena Forrest and Abby Champion. “Californication,” as it is called, celebrates this season in tie-dye, crocheted swimwear, and more. To that end, Selena (pictured) opens the story wearing a white blazer by Mert & Marcus X Dsquared2, a vest from Proenza Schouler, and necklaces by J. Hardyment and Charlotte Chesnais. The look is confident and chill, not unlike the State of California or for that matter Selena herself.
