There is yet plenty of quality in the world and rarely does it announce itself on every available platform for personal amplification and self aggrandizement. Fact is, quality over time sells itself. Sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen know as much having founded the label The Row in 2006 and in subsequent years built up a loyal and steadfast clientele. The April 2019 issue of British Vogue carries a rare feature on the Olsen sisters by photographer Craig McDean in which Binx Walton appears. The Row does little in the way of advertising or for that matter press, but Mary-Kate and Ashley did speak with Olivia Singer, which will surely delight readers. “The whole exercise was to see whether, if something was made beautifully, in great fabric, with good fit, it would sell without a name or logo,” the sisters explained. “And it worked.” And how! The Row will be opening a store in London, its third together with doors in New York and Los Angeles.
