Luxury objects, they’re a fashion staple. Without these important elements everyday life would simply devour the fantasy that is high fashion, subsuming it wholly into an undifferentiated field of banality. Snap out of that fever dream at once and lay hands on the April 2019 issue of Vogue México for a story that just might restore faith in the concept of private ownership and all things Callie Dixon. That’s right, this luxury story by photographer Matthew Kristall and stylist Rebecca Dennett is but a sexy vehicle festooned luxury embellishments for Callie. Readers will no doubt recall Callie’s runway debut as a Miu Miu exclusive, not to mention her lingerie and swimwear campaigns for Stella McCartney, here, though is another side of Callie, an editorial that she absolutely bodies. Callie looks straight into the camera (pictured) wearing little more than a pair of black knickers, but at the same time flexing with luxury objects that include a pair of heels by Prada (for modesty) and Chanel flap bag atop her head. It is one hell of an opener, the very sort Callie is wont to deliver whenever she lands in print. All told, this is a fine showing, one that ought to become a staple of finer publications across the land.
