The heptahedron is a solid figure with seven planar surfaces. One example is the pentagonal prism, which if unfurled reveals a composition of five rectangles and two pentagons. Geometry dates back to antiquity and as fascinating as its study has been for millennia, there is no substitute for praxis! The Autumn / Winter 2019 issue of Exit comes through with the hot praxis with a newly released cover (first of three) featuring Jessica Miller photographed by Quentin Jones. Jessica is pictured wearing a choker from Lanvin, some of which is refracted through a pentagonal prism that has been overlaid on the portrait. The effect accentuates the beauty of an already gorgeous Jessica and perfectly sets the tone for the entire issue in a way that, say, an octahedron could not ever possibly do.
