“What gets between you and your Calvins?” Historically speaking, nothing. The newly released Calvin Klein Jeans advertising campaign, however strongly suggests a new answer to this age-old question provocatively posed nearly 40 years ago. The new campaign by photographer Theo Wenner is built around real life couples, which includes Abby Champion and Selena Forrest alongside and mostly intertwined with their better halves. As denim advertising goes, this is a sensual, even erotic take on sturdy cotton twill fabric with western stitching. All told, this campaign is an open embrace of love in its myriad forms and a compelling invitation for all lovers to heed the call of #MYCALVINS.
