Thirty-five dollars and a six-pack to my name, spent the rest on beer so who’s to blame? Black Flag were really on to something back in 1981 with their anthemic single “Six Pack” because nearly four decades later those prescient words are back with a twist following the launch of the Moschino X Budweiser capsule collection, the campaign for which features Luisana Gonzalez and João Knorr. Spending all of one’s money on beer is one thing, but spending it all on the 15 pieces in Jeremy Scott’s American-style pale lager-inspired capsule is quite another thing, not to mention peak 2019. As far as the collaboration goes, Scott has form, which readers will no doubt recall from his Fall 2014 collection for Moschino in which Lily McMenamy memorably wore a Budweiser-themed look in the runway show. Five years later, the King of Clothes returns with a capsule possibly worth shotgunning.
