The 1970s were nearly a half century ago and yet that decade still finds resonance today. The November 2019 issue of Vogue Italia dips back into the decade that saw amongst other things the downfall of Richard Nixon and the rise of punk rock with a compelling editorial by photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch starring American beauty Grace Elizabeth. Shot on a set that would not look out of place in a Price Is Right showcase from 1973, the story celebrates a more sensual side of the Fall 2019 collections. If free love and all associated don’t immediately spring to mind, then perhaps the sight of Grace (pictured) wearing a leopard dress and lace top by Gucci, finished with earrings by Gillian Horsup will.
