What is life but an endless succession of performances? Every relationship comes freighted with an expectation of a particular persona. Deviation from the script can be catastrophic or worse, unintelligible. For models this proposition is something else entirely. For Karolin Wolter adopting a new role for every look is but another day at the office or as it turns out the cover story for the forthcoming issue of T: The New York Times Style Magazine by photographer Collier Schorr and stylist Marie Chaix. This story celebrates this season’s boxy suiting together with 1980s-inspired leather separates. For every look, Karolin wears a different hair style, the effect of which immediately turns this story in a masterclass of dynamic range. Karolin is a player of many notes and her offering is a veritable symphony. To answer the question in the story’s title, “Who’s that Girl?”, Karolin is, she’s all of those girls.
